Nike Connect allows allows your Nike device*and nikeplus.com to communicate to each other through your computer.
When you connect your Nike device to any computer with the Nike Connect software installed, any workout information stored on your device is uploaded through Nike Connect to your Nike profile. Nikeplus.com will also send any firmware updates to your device through Nike Connect.

You can install Nike Connect on multiple computers and use any or all of them to upload your workout information from your device to your Nike profile.

How do get it to work? How do you get past the firmware update request?

Liambe, It doesn't. Since the nike website is down the band cannot access it and you won't be able to use it. Can't even use it as a watch. There is no workaround, it's a useless chunk of metal now. sad.

You can only use it to clear history so you again have room to store maybe 8-10 runs.
Then reset to factory for another go-round. Good luck.
